A romantic at heart, this Astromon usually lives life at a relaxed pace, but will devote all of his passion to something that catches his interest. His specialty is his own self-taught brand of swordsmanship, which he uses to toy with his opponents.
Gatadors tend to have a pure and simple worldview. Once they trust someone, their trust is absolute. This often leaves them open to betrayal and exploitation, and although they understand there is a gap between reality and their romantic ideals, they still believe they can make the world a more ideal place if they just try hard enough.
This Muscateer's red hat and cap symbolize his passion, and while some have expressed the view that they feel a bit over-the-top, he is more than happy with them. His uncompromising stand against injustice and sheer determination have garnered him fans, and he has perfected his swordsmanship to truly be as quick as lightning.
"I'm not strong enough to win in a straight paw fight, so instead I confuse the opponent with fancy feline fencing! I mix in feints until they're chasing their tails. then aim for their weak spot and pounce!"
"This hat is cat-tastic! It blocks the sunlight, and can be thrown at an enemy's face to block their vision, after which I follow up with a surprise attack! I've used that tactic to defeat more foes than I can count on all four paws!"
"Isn't that kinda...cheating?"
"I'm thinking about changing my cape. I've got a design here for a long and soft cape that could double purrfectly as a blanket! Pawfully practical, don't you think? Please order me one, meow-ster!"
"You know, capes might look cook and all, but don't you think it'll get in the way during battle?"
"Just watch! It'll make me the coolest cat on the battlefield!"
"Mmhmmm...So all that talk about practicality was just an excuse, huh?"
"The amount of arable land in Ultima is relatively small when compared to the continent as a whole, but what land is cultivable is fertile and able to grow high quality crops. Of particular note is the soil in the Pagos region, which is well-suited for grains such as wheat thanks to its low salinity combined with the strong sun rays the area receives. The Pagos region is also famous for its rich homebrew, which incidentally is hilarious when given to Gatitos."
-Excerpt from "Regional Specialties All Over: A Travelogue."
"Our grain storehouse is very important to the area. That's why we asked you to guard it, but how're you gonna do that if you get all liquored up and pass out?!"
"Chief, I purrfectly understand where you're coming from. your lovely wife's homebrew is just so pawsitively delicious, I took one sip because I was thirsty and then I-I just couldn't stop!"
"See, honey, I told ya so! It's not just me..."
-Conversation overheard in a small village near Pagos
"Rahala fruit wine never fails to make an appearance on any true connoisseur's best wine list. Rahala, its main ingredient, is only harvested in small amounts near the Glauphenon region and commands a high price due to its scarcity. Most recently, it has found unusual popularity among Muscateers."

"Mademoiselle, what is a beauty such as yourself doing here crying? On. my apawlogies! I did not mean to startle you. I am not one of those strange Astromons, I am but a humble traveling swordskitty."
"So, that is the cause of your tears, those droplets more valuable than any gemstone! I must right this wrong. What was the name of he who made you cry? Romeow?
"Tch...I meowed up the wrong tree, getting in the middle of a couple's conflict. Still, seeing them embrace each other makes me think my efforts were purrhaps not in vain. It is my turn to quietly bow out."
This Astromon is talented with a sword, but even more talented at dishing out insults with lightning speed. What makes his insults so frightening is that they're not simply baseless remarks meant to infuriate, but rather they cut to the very core of a person and their actions. His comments still infuriate, but they also prevent retaliation because they are based in truth.
Dark Gatadors are infamous even among the most silver-tongued bards. Getting into a verbal altercation with one is meaningless at best, and damaging at worst. The war of words that went down in central Lupern between a Gatador and Pellas the Wanderer is still a topic of much discussion, and went a long way to boost Pellas's notoriety.
"All words are at the mercy of those more forceful than themselves." This saying served as motivation to the countless number of people hwo challenged the Muscateer to a battle of words. Little needs to be said of the outcomes of such challenges; the mere fact that he can still be found drinking fruit wine at a crowded pub is a testament to both his skill as a wordsmith and his boldness.
